Electronic Repair & Service
Whatever you bring to us for repair or service, we do our utmost to make sure you know what to expect when you trust your equipment to us. We also keep you up to date in order to let you know when to expect completion & how much it will finally cost. We do not add services with extra charges without contacting you first & we will not leave you wondering.
Tube Guitar Amp Repair
Tube guitar amplifiers or valve amplifiers remain highly desirable & many guitar players will always prefer the sound quality of the tube guitar amplifier. Tube amp repairs often involve replacement of connectors, input jacks or output jacks & other discrete components as well as tubes of course. We can also perform refurbishing services on tube amplifiers, replacing aging capacitors and other components to breath new life into your favorite amp. Tube amps not only get hot, but also contain lots of high voltages that can cause death - NEVER open an amplifier or touch internal components of tube amplifiers unless you are qualified to do so.
Solid State Guitar Amp Repair
Solid state guitar amplifiers are the most popular type of amplifier found these days. Cost, weight & functionality are a few of the factors that make them more popular than traditional tube guitar amplifiers. Many troublesome aspects of solid state amplifiers are just the same as the tube amps however. We often repair broken input jacks or output jacks, replace worn out fans and replace blown power output components.
Keyboard, PA, & other repairs
While we mainly service electric guitar & acoustic guitar amplifiers, we also repair PA's, electronic keyboards & many other products including rack mount equipment etc. If you need electronic repairs, we can usually provide help for most products. On one occasion, we provided in-home repair service for an old wurlitzer jukebox!
Guitar Pedal Mods & Repairs
There are many guitar pedal guru's out there that provide information on modifying & tweaking guitar pedals. From improving fuzz tone or overdrive sounds to fuill blown rich chorus, someones come up with a way to make a different sound or improve the existing pedal.
