Installation hardware

Mounting hardware included FREE!

Pickup mounting hardware is not normally supplied by Bartolini for use with their pickups. We add FREE black wood screws and pieces of thick self-adhesive foam to make your installation easier.

Bartolini Windings

Aside from single windings, there are also split coil, dual coil and quad coil hum-cancelling designs. Split coil designs are somewhat like a pair of P-Bass pickup windings, but in a single package.

About Bartolini Preamps

Bartolini make upgrading your bass as easy as it can be. These bass tone control circuits are packaged as complete wiring harnesses, making for a simple install with minimum soldering required! Just remove your old wiring, pots & jack, drop-in the harness then connect the pickups & Battery!
Bartolini preamp harnesses are built around two designs of active preamp.
  • NTBT 2-band (Treb-Bass).
  • NTMB 3-band (Treb-Mid-Bass).
    All harnesses work with passive pickups only.

    Choosing a harness

    1. How many Pickups? Look for the configuration that includes the right number of pickups for your guitar.
    2. How many knobs? Choose how many knob positions you need. A stacked knob is counted as one knob position.
    3. How many EQ bands? Harnesses are available with either two or three bands of EQ control.
    4. Switched Active-Passive? Choose an AP version if you want to be able to switch off active EQ & select passive output.

    Treb - Treble EQ control
    TrebBass - Stacked Treble & Bass
    Vol - Volume control.
    VolVol - Stacked Volume control
    Bass - Bass EQ control
    Mid - Middle EQ control
    Mid* - Mid EQ w/ push-pull mid frequency select
    Mix - Blend, pickup mix control
    S - Toggle switch mid frequency shift.
