 Electric Guitar Body Wood BlanksCatalina Guitars produces Guitar body blanks made from a variety of woods sanded and sized for your solid body project. We stock Ash, Swamp Ash and Mahogany woods. We often also list single piece Swamp Ash as well as two piece, center joined blocks. Whilst the two piece wood blanks are obviously glue jointed in the center, the joint is stronger than the wood itself - You should not fear a breakage - 99 percent of all commercially available instruments consist of glue jointed parts two or more pieces. One of the advantages to the two piece guitar blank is also the pattern - Making them in two pieces provides a wider wood growth ring pattern that forms a pleasing S-shape. Single piece blanks will inevitably have tighter lines at the edges.Available stocked body blanks for purchase are listed below.
