Preamps and EQPreamp and EQ for acoustic and electric guitars, including onboard circuits. When using passive piezo pickups external preamps are often used to boost and round out the sound of the pickup. Preamps also help reduce noise for Piezo pickups which have a higher impedance than magnetic pickups causing them to be more susceptible to radiated noise.
