Custom Guitar Necks
At our guitar workshop in Tucson, Arizona, we provide custom guitar services and neck building for completely custom guitar necks. We can produce guitar necks with various fingerboard woods including Ebony, Rosewood and Maple amongst others and Mahogany or Maple necks. Our necks are hand sanded & finished following machining & construction. We can produce compound radius fretboards as well as any other uniform radius. We also produce necks with any style of rear profile. We take great pride in our work and are not bound by low cost manufacturing techniques that limit neck construction styles. Our custom guitar necks are made one-at-a-time to meet your exact needs and therefore are also nmot priced at the same levels you will find available production necks from other customized neck suppliers.

This custom guitar neck was made with our own unique fretting method not used by other guitar producers - Note that the fret tangs are not showing and there is no filler along the edge of the fingerboard to cover the fret tangs - They just aren't there! The Ziricote Fretboard sets off a great contrast with the Mother of Pearl & Abelone Inlay.

Featured Custom Bass Guitar Neck
We were asked to reproduce a Bass Guitar Neck no longer in production. The owner wanted a smaller neck width at the nut, increased depth at the heel & needed smaller tuner holes. Modern construction features strengthen the design internally with carbon fiber stiffeners & bi-flex truss rod. This neck also has an angled headstock of about 5 degrees and unlike the original, the maple portion of the neck was cut from a single piece. The rosewood fingerboard also featured fretwork with hidden fret tangs.

Featured Custom Tele style Guitar Neck with Traditional Bullet Truss Rod
We made this Custom Neck for Chris Dansdill of the Jazz Standards group called Misbehavin here in Tucson. Chris wanted to capture the feel of a C shape vintage neck contour with a more modern fingerboard radius of 12 inches. The neck has many traditional features including the bullet truss rod, Macassar Ebony skunk stripe, Rosewood fingerboard with 7mm dot Mother of Pearl inlays and Mother of Pearl side dots as well as the original Fender string trees & Grover mini tuners. It also included the Buzz Feiten Tuning System, which Chris has also had us retrofit to many of his other guitars.
