Garry is pictured above with a selection of his recent custom guitars on show at the November 24th 2007 Luthier show at the 17th Street Market World of Music Luthier Show. We would like to thank Frank Sanzo for inviting us to take part in the show.

Other show participants included:

Bob Mick - A long time Tucson instrument maker producing eveything from 6-string electrics to stand-up basses. His work is thorough and includes distinctive inlay work.

Girl Brand Guitars - Chris Larsen at Girl Brand Guitars in Tucson, Arizona has a unique perspective on guitar construction. Starting with a Tele-like guitar body based around an aluminum extrusion, Chris includes a lot of art work to his guitars, including traditional, detailed inlay through to silk-screen printing. Almost every part of his guitar design including the controls are unlike those you would find on conventional guitars.

Ozone Guitars - Winding pickups and producing pre-wired pick-guard assemblies with selectable multiple voicings for each pickup, Dave Schecter continues to provide innovative solutions to musicians needs from here in Tucson. Dave has been involved in the guitar industry going back to 1970, and is best known for his work from 1976 to 1984 as the original founder of Schecter Guitar Research, supplying replacement parts for existing guitars.

Les Korn Guitars Handmade Jazz Archtop Guitars - Les makes beautiful Jazz Archtop guitars in the tradition of D'Angelico, D'Aquisto, Gibson & Benedetto from figured woods and traditional materials.

Togar Guitars - Handcrafted Bass Guitars - Tom at Togar Guitars produces solidbody electric bass guitars from great pieces of wood. His designs are uniquely shaped and perfectly built.

Blum & Amesquita - Cesario "Cy" Amequita is a young and distinguished violin maker who also runs his own instrument repair shop in Tucson. He skillfully carves instruments from slect pieces of maple. If you want to find out more about CY, this Arizona Daily Star article is a useful insight

Mudd Guitars - Handcrafted Stringed Instruments (480) 797-7183

Gypsy's Music Handcrafted Instruments - Affordable hand-made flat-top Mandolins in a European style. Walt Kuhlman and his partner Juan Villescas produce Mandolins and other instruments. The Mandolins have unique features that enhance the top resonance producing a much fuller sound than many conventional instruments.

Roberto-Venn School of Luthery - This Phoenix Luthery school is one of the largest schools of its type in the US. We are often asked if we can teach luthery - We don't provide such a service, but will refer you to the Roberto-Venn school.
